Right this very minute there are tens of thousands of hopeful young singers auditioning in front of bedroom mirrors who believe they could be the next "American Idol."
They are believers because they've seen other people come from nowhere to win fame and fortune on that TV show. Although Fantasia: Life is Not a Fairy Tale – the TV movie about third-season American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino's difficult past – is not due to air on Lifetime until Aug. 19, producers of the FOX talent show reportedly are already crying foul over their depiction in the biopic.
