"I can't tell you how much I've been looking forward to getting out there to perform for y'all. In the craziness of the music business, performing is what I look forward to doing the most, so it really is disappointing for me to have to tell you that I won't be coming out to tour this summer. The fact is that touring is just too much too soon.

Studio and label reps think that Kelly Clarkson should lose some weight. I find that interesting considering the general public has accepted Kelly as is. Her numbers have never been affected by her physical appearance. But a source close to Kelly is saying that the singer is starting to cave in on her weight “issue” and is trying to lose 25 pounds. She has become depressed over her size and wants to shape up before her summer tour.

Kelly Clarkson has used her music muscle against her record label head, Clive Davis -- and won!
Well-connected record company sources tell TMZ that Clive likes to exercise "creative control" over artist recordings and wasn't happy at all with Kelly's latest album, "My December."
