clay aiken spoke with People Magazine in promoting his new album A Thousand Different Ways. It hit stores yesterday.

In a two-part interview starting Wednesday with ABC's Diane Sawyer, Clay Aiken opens up about his debilitating struggle with panic attacks and how he's been able to control them by using Paxil, an antidepressant.
"I guess I just got to a point where I thought, 'OK, listen, you're not going crazy," he explains. "I'm not going, I'm not going crazy.' And so I talked to my doctor and I said, 'Listen, here's the thing. I don't
understand why I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack when I go into these rooms. I don't get it.'"

Obviously since it hasn't happened yet, things can change. However, Clay Aiken is expected to come out of the closet this on Good Morning America this coming week when he's interviewed by Diane Sawyer.
According to a well-placed source, Gayken will admit that he is on the anti-depressant Paxil. Diane Sawyer will not be asking Clay directly if he is gay, but she will give him a hypothetical question such as...if these rumors were said about some guy in the Midwest how should he address it?
